I don't have anything particularly clever to open with, but I can't stand not having a greeting paragraph. It gives me hives. So hello from the Icons gallery and I'll try to keep it shorter than last time.


The browse cache is almost entirely cured. The only thing left that's not updating promptly is scraps, and not only in the main galleries, but also in people's individual galleries. (If you moved something to scraps and it's still showing in your gallery, that's why.)

My anality won't allow me to move things to scraps as long as the thumb will stay in the gallery, so that means I've been moving a lot more miscats to proper galleries. If y'all could help me out by suggesting destination galleries in your reports, I would be much obliged.

I'm working on an Adobt-a-n00b day. The basic idea is to offer the extensive know-how of experienced iconists to folks who are just starting out. We might match people up, or do a random drawing sort of thing. I'm also thinking of themed seminar-style chat events like "How to make transparent backgrounds" or "How to develop your signature style".

I've discussed this with several people already, but am avidly soliciting any and all suggestions and ideas. Brainstorm me, people!
