I've had a couple of questions about this, so I just want to clarify why I sometimes move miscategorized deviations to scraps.

First and foremost, it's important to clarify that when I move something to scraps, it is not a judgement of the quality of the art. It might be the most beautiful manga ever in the history of manga, but if it's one of 20 assorted non-emoticons in the Emoticons gallery, I'm moving it to scraps along with the other 19 miscats because I can do that in two clicks instead of the 200 it would take me to move each individual deviation to the appropriate gallery.

Also, I don't always know which gallery a piece is best suited to. Moving it to scraps gives the artist a chance to regroup and pick another location on his or her own.
